
AULA, journal of pedagogy of the University of Salamanca is an annual scientific publication founded in 1985 and whose central theme is the studies of teaching and educational research. It is funded by the Departments of Didactics of Musical, Plastic and Corporal Expression; Didactics of Mathematics and Experimental Sciences; Didactics, Organization and Research Methods, and the Faculty of Education and Tourism of Avila.
It had a first stage that ended with volume 14 (2002). In 2009, a second stage began, directed by Professor José Mª Hernández Díaz, characterized by the inclusion of a Monograph on a current topic and a varied section called Studies, which closed with volume 28 (2022). From 2023 onwards, a third stage will begin under the direction of Professor Galo Sánchez Sánchez.
Aula aims to reach researchers, students, teachers, educators and people interested in teaching and educational research. The official languages of the journal are: Spanish, English and Portuguese.
AULA is indexed in Education Source (EBSCO), REDIB, DOAJ, Dialnet and mir@bel. It is also evaluated in CIRC. Integrated Classification of Scientific Journals (with value higher than D), Directory of Open Access Journals, ERIHPlus, Latindex (Catalog 2.0) and MIAR. As for self-archiving, it is listed in Dulcinea(color Blue) and Sherpa/Romeo (color blue).
