
1616: Yearbook of Comparative Literature is the journal of the Spanish Society of General and Comparative Literature. It is the official expression of this scientific society and features contributions related to that discipline, subject to approval by the Editorial Board. The journal accepts submissions on theoretical issues that advance or facilitate debate within the framework of General and Comparative Literature studies, as well as case studies where comparative criteria are clearly defined. While the publication respects the intellectual freedom of its authors, it does not necessarily share their opinions.
A volume is published per year allowing unrestricted access to all its content from the moment it appears. The languages of publication are the officers of the Spanish State, as well as English and French.
It is indexed in MIAR, DOAJ, ERIH+, EBSCO, Academic Search Premier, MLA - Modern Language Association Database, Proquest and Dialnet.
