Abstract

With the entry into the European education superior area as a frame of reference, an educational research process is performed in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Salamanca (Spain). A computing tool has been designed and coded, the Learning Management System, to help in the process of teaching and learning the contents of the medical physics education. This multi-channel software, called Fisimed, has already been evaluated by first course students both of medicine and dentistry. This computing platform eliminates space - temporary constraints, allowing thus the individual monitoring for gaining knowledge on the part of every student. It makes the channel of communication between pupils and teachers easier (continuous tutoring) for the resolution of questions and it is arranged in scales, allowing easily an increase in the functionality.
