Current issues in public communication of science. Introduction
Abstract La práctica de la comunicación pública de la ciencia (CPC) –concebida en su forma más elemental como una actividad orientada a transmitir conocimiento científico al público en general, al margen del circuito educativo– ha transcurrido de forma paralela al propio avance de la ciencia moderna. No obstante, no fue hasta el siglo xx cuando se establecieron las bases que favorecieron su institucionalización a gran escala.
