Collaborative Learning in Higher Education: Change Laboratory
Abstract
The study addresses the relevance of the theory of historical-cultural activity as a foundation and guide for pedagogical work in the subject on the Change Laboratory. The objective is to assess the dimensions of pedagogical design in its investigative and interventionist perspectives. The research focus is mixed. The sample is intentional non-probabilistic. The data is obtained through questionnaires. The dimensions studied are the learning activity; the participating subjects; object; tools; learning community; norms and rules defined by teachers and students; division of labour. The results show that the involvement in the Change Laboratory promotes the effective commitment of its members, favoring the activation of learning, collaboration agreements and self-regulation. The subjective and intersubjective dimension is emphasized, the contradictions in the activity systems as a motor of change and development. The mediating role of teachers stands out, activating devices that lead to the self-socio-construction of knowledge, based on the constant evaluation and reorganization of the actions developed.
