Split (2017) M. Night Shyamalan. Dissociative identity disorder: Another turn of the screw
Abstract Psychiatric pathology is a rich reign for screenwriters and filmmakers, especially when it comes to exploring its mostgruesome and morbid facets. Multiple personality disorders, currently dissociative identity disorders, unusual in clinicalpractice but prolific in the cinema, are a demonstrative example of this reality. M. Night Shyamalan’s Multiple/Split (2017) is for the moment the last twist of this artistic subgenre.
