Protohistoric Defensive Architecture. Methodological Perspectives

Abstract

The defensive architectures is known as a complex phenomenonwith lots of factors involved. Structures such as the walls were subjected to continuous reconstructions in relation with their needs, likes or their technical capacities of each historical period. In this text is suggested an integrated method where you could find, the thorough capture of information proposed from a neopositivisttendency, the bonds between architecture and landscapes, withoutscorn symbolic and cultural aspects from the building. The last intention is to create models and types that could be compared, establishing as far as possible chronological and cultural repetitive patterns.
