Abstract

 The study of the American independences is fashionable. The year 2008 has opened an extensive stage of commemorations that will not be closed even in twenty years. Historians and investigators of very varied disciplines we approach a convulsed process, but of great chronological stability, a period of Longue durée that includes a continental space with regional complexities, reasons and dissimilar consequences and where the participation of the social and political actors of every national scene differs from that of his neighbors.
