Polybius' mixed constitution as apolitical model
Abstract In this article there is an analysis on Polybius's use of Greek political theory in order to observe and classify the Roman constitution and explain Rome's world hegemony. In this intellectual process, there were two key concepts anacyclosis and the mixed constitution. In consequence, this historian became the most original in antiquity.
