Proposals for Special Issues
GENERAL CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The Editorial Board of Toldot. Studia Hebraica et Sephardica invites researchers, both national and international, to submit proposals for monographs on topics aligned with the journal’s editorial thematic interests. Particular consideration will be given to research topics or current state of the question on a particular topic that could lead to the publication of an innovative monographic section. In general terms, proposals must ensure a minimum of four and a maximum of seven high-quality articles, which demonstrate unquestionable internal coherence and represent a challenging advance in the understanding of the chosen subject area. Monographs must be coordinated by one or two editors and must include an introductory overview of the issue.
Editors interested in submitting a proposal must send the duly completed monograph form to the journal’s editorial office (toldot@usal.es). The length and format of each contribution shall be those applicable to general articles published in the journal.
Once the proposal has been approved, a public call for papers will be announced for all other interested authors wishing to submit their contributions to each special issue.
