La notación no convencional y su aplicación en el aula de educación musical en Educación Primaria

Abstract

This research project examines the use of unconventional notation as a teaching tool in the Primary School Music Education classroom. The main objective is to analyze how these graphic representations, beyond traditional notation, foster students’ musical understanding, motivation, and creativity. A pedagogical proposal was designed and implemented, combining body percussion, instrumentation, and movement, and adapted to the cognitive and social characteristics of primary school children. The results indicate that unconventional notation encourages active learning, supports attentive listening, and promotes student participation in musical activities, thus becoming a valuable didactic resource for music education in primary schools.
