Los sátrapas persas de Alejandro
El Imperio Aqueménida como espacialidad social
Resumen
El artículo sistematiza las respuestas de los sátrapas persas frente a la invasión macedonia. Se sostiene que la dimensión como espacialidad social del Imperio aqueménida resulta fundamental para comprender el desarrollo de ese Estado como el éxito de Alejandro y las acciones de los sátrapas. Así como la arena imperial integraba a élites de distintas regiones y centralizaba recursos en favor del monarca, la porosidad de sus límites sociales, así como el repertorio de relaciones entre soberano y súbditos, escapaban al control central y podían dar lugar a un reemplazo del Gran Rey reconfigurando esa espacialidad.
