Research on Environmental Education and the New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTIC)

Abstract

This article discusses the changes that may be brought on by New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTIC) on research relating to the Environmental Education (EE). It is expected that such changes will not differ much from those which already exist within other fields of knowledge, such as the education act. However, there are certain aspects, particularly those in connection with the nature and social environmental problems which complex issues in themselves. This work is thought out in two parts with this purpose. The first part introduces the issue of research within the EE and looks at the preliminary studies as a priority for the near future. The second part explores the possibilities and limits of the NTIC on the EE research.
