Hypertext environments and education

Abstract

This paper aims to in brief analyze the framework from which formal education and its main actors (students and teachers) should provide hypertext environments, that is, the hypertextual domain. Such environments are understood not only as a specific communication and learning instruments, but also as something that falls within the category of mental-cognitive processes and, even more broadly, attitudinal and philosophical contexts of any educational process.
