The diversity of students, some of them with big learning dificulties, is a reality in our Secondary Schools. However, Secondary School’s teachers have not been trained for it. Taking into account that the teacher’s attitude is a basic premise in Pedagogy, we have worked on the Secondary School teacher’s attitude towards the students with special needs. In order to have a deeper and wider view of this question and following the latest tendencies in educative research techniques, we have used a methodology that belong to the quantitative and qualitative paradigm. This article refers only to the part of research that used the quantitative techniques. The variables used are related to the different personal and contextual characteristics of the teachers in Secondary Education. The hypothesis has been confirmed. The conclusions of the research throw some light on this topic, suggesting ways in which we can benefit from human resources towards the attention to diversity of students and specially to those who have big learning difficulties.
