«Teachability: Educational values linking the curricular and the organizational reality in the educational unit»

Abstract

It is clear that the different activities in educational institutions need to be planned, arranged, programmed, developed and evaluated if we want to achieve the aims that justify their existence and work. All this effort is synthesized and gathered up in the Centre Educational Project, which is the medium-term instrument of planning, and which expresses in specific terms and develops all these elements that form part of it: Educational Aims, Centre Curricular Project and the rules of its internal organization and functioning. In this article we reflect on the suitability, possibility and real use, considering its organic character, of two essential documents in this Centre Educational Project. We refer here to the Centre Curricular Project and the rules for its functioning and organization. This study is composed of three complementary perspectives: the ontological reality, that is, the suitability of this relationship that we try to justify from the point of view of teachability and the educational values which are proper to man and, at the same time, it links the real essence of these two documents; the historical reality of the last fifty years, and its influence on the organizational-curricular relationship in educational institutions; and, finally, we value the lineal evolution of teacher training in Spain and its response to the educational institution as a curricular, professional and organizational unit.
