El mal del siglo (an unpublished Unamuno’s work)
Abstract ABSTRACT: El mal del siglo was written by Unamuno in the October of 1897 as first chapter of Meditaciones evangélicas, an unfinished work. This book belongs to the novel Nuevo mundo, finished in march ‘96 and Diario íntimo, drowen up after the famous crisis of ‘97. The text, now published for the first time, is tightly related to Diario íntimo and many ideas and topics were previously developed in it.
