Actitudes políticas y solicitudes de ayuda directa a los gobiernos locales en América Latina

Resumen

Este artículo estudia la relación entre las ayudas directas de los gobiernos y autoridades locales con las actitudes políticas de la ciudadanía. Se analizan datos de la encuesta Barómetro de las Américas de LAPOP para una muestra regional de América Latina. Afirmamos que el apoyo al sistema político tiene una relación positiva con la disposición de las personas para solicitar apoyo directo. También sostenemos que, a mayor confianza interpersonal, menor es la probabilidad de solicitar ayuda local.
