Actitudes políticas y solicitudes de ayuda directa a los gobiernos locales en América Latina

Resumo

Este artigo estuda a relação entre a ajuda direta de governos e autoridades locais com as atitudes políticas dos cidadãos. Os dados da pesquisa LAPOP são analisados ??para uma amostra geral da América Latina, para afirmar que o apoio ao sistema político tem uma relação positiva e significativa com a disposição das pessoas em solicitar apoio direto. Da mesma forma, são testadas hipóteses secundárias relacionadas à confiança interpessoal e à percepção da qualidade dos serviços. Os resultados mostram que quanto maior a confiança das pessoas e maior a percepção da qualidade dos serviços, menor a probabilidade de solicitar ajuda local. Para o trabalho empírico, são utilizadas as ondas de 2010, 2012 e 2014 da pesquisa por serem os anos em que o LAPOP aplicou questões relacionadas às atitudes locais.
