Frontal bone fragment from Mousterian Hora’s Cave (Granada, Spain)
Abstract Study of a frontal bone from level III in Hora’s Cave (Darro, Granada), seated in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula. This is one of the deposit that, together with La Carigüela’s Cave, presents a large stratification where we can follow the evolution of the industries. The osseous fragment to be analised is located at the Upper Mousterian levels, defined as a Typical, and reflects a mousterian survival during the Upper Pleniglacial. Furthermore antropological study of this neurocranial fragment, it will be analised the context where it was discovered, so be its implications.
