Reasonable Accommodations and Supports in the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Challenges and Difficulties
Abstract The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is an instrument of social transformation and not only for lives of people with disabilities. The fundamental objective of the Convention is the autonomy of persons with disabilities. However, achieving that objective poses challenges and difficulties, including determining the content and scope of the concepts and terms contained in the Convention. But it is necessary to carry out this task since otherwise the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities would be impossible.
