Abstract

This paper aims to research the migration and emplacement of Mallorca's immigrants in Buenos Aires, in 1930-1940 decade, concerning particularly the possible ways to think the articulation between the macrostructural conditions, those compelling for subjects, and the grupal-individual strategies. The enquiry is focused in the comprehension of a Mallorca's little town inhabitants (Alaró) moved to Buenos Aires. So, from this point of view, both perspectives, the macro and the microanalytical ones, seem to give an adequate view of migration phenomen, avoiding one-sided explanations.
