RESUMEN: La utilización del término «parvenu» para designar una realidad social del siglo iv d.C. relacionada con el ordo senatorius nos conduce a la búsqueda y análisis de los elementos que constituirían la identidad de dichos individuos.SUMMARY: The use of the term «parvenu» to designate a social reality of the 4th Century A.D. in relation with the ordo senatorius, leads us to the search and analysis of the elements that would constitute the identity of these individuals.
