RESUMEN: Los esclavos, los hombres no libres y, también, los libertos se comportan de diferente manera ante sus domini. Según Plinio el Joven, los esclavos mantienen una actitud colectiva contra su dominus. La respuesta de los libertos en cuanto a la relación con el patronus es individual y la posibilidad de que puedan llegar a autogobernarse es muy peligrosa. ABSTRACT: Slaves and unfree men but also freedmen have behaved differently towards their domini. For Pliny the Younger, slaves had a collective attitude against the dominus. The freedmen had an individual response about the relationship with the patronus. The possibility of a form of self government by the freedmen was a very dangerous opportunity.
