Technology uses in education and learning indigenous languages and cultures: the multimedia about Huastecan Nahuatl
Abstract This paper presents a Multimedia on Huastecan Nahuatl Language and Culture, a didactic resource developed originally for a course on Huastecan Nahuatl language and culture. It provides a description and explanation of the multimedia, as well as a series of reflections on the role of the new technologies in the learning process at a graduate level, particularly regarding indigenous languages as a second language. It also discusses the theoretical perspectives that guided the design of the multimedia and explains its didactic functions and possible uses.
