LMS: a learning tool for a language learning on the EILCs context?

Abstract

This paper is based on the assumption that the use of a Learning Management System (LMS) may be an appropriate pedagogical approach to respond to the diverse needs and motivations of students enrolled in an intensive intermediate level ERASMUS Intensive Language Course of Portuguese Foreign Language. These courses, either funded or not funded by the National Agencies of the Longlife Learning EU Programme, are offered by language centers of higher education institutions in Europe. The paper presents a suggestion on how to organize one module of the above mentioned courses on the e-learning platform.
