The digital portfolio as a tool for the development of generic skills
Abstract From an approach on the relationship between digital technologies as tools for mediation, we analyze the role of a specific case: electronic portfolios, to improve generic skills in the university environment. The results suggest that improvements are obtained, at least from the perception of the students themselves, in some dimensions related to the capacity to select and organize information, as well as learning planning.
