Author Guidelines

GUIDE FOR AUTHORS

 1. Contents

The submitted papers must be original contributions that have not been previously published or are not under submission at another journal or under consideration for publication in another form. Authors of submitted papers are obligated not to submit their paper for publication elsewhere until an editorial decision is rendered on their submission. A typical article will normally be around 7,500 words in length, including the title, the abstract, the keywords and the references.

All papers will be rigorously peer-reviewed before their acceptance by two member of the Scientific Committee at least. The referees will be able to make suggestions for the paper improvement, which should be taken into account in the new paper review, if this is the Editor-in-Chief’s decision.

The Journal sections are: a) Papers; b) Book reviews; and c) PhD Thesis reviews.

Papers may be written in Spanish or English (other languages may be allowed if Editor-in-Chief gives the authorization), recommending the use of inclusive language. The title, the abstract and the keywords must be in both Spanish and English. The main title will be match the language in which is written the paper body.

 2. Format

The following files compose a paper submission:

  1. A file with the authors’ information that will contain the following data:
    1. Title in Spanish and English
    2. For each author: name, surname, ORCID code, full affiliation (full name of the current author’s centre, department and/or institution, and full postal affiliation address including the country name), telephone and email. One author should be identified as the corresponding author.
    3. A file with the body of the paper:
      1. Any reference to the name of the author or authors and their credentials will be omitted
      2. It must include the title in Spanish and English
      3. An abstract, in Spanish and English, of no more than 300 words, must be included. It is suggested that authors use the OMRC (Objective, Method, Results and Conclusions) structure.
      4. Between 4 and 6 keywords are required, both in Spanish and English. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes. It is highly recommendable that these keywords will be included in UNESCO or ERIC thesaurus.
      5. The body of the paper, with a maximum, recommended length of 7,500 words, will be written using a generic 12-point font (Times New Roman or Arial) and double line spacing. The different sections of the paper will be numbered (with Arabic numerals) and bold. Bold or underlined text is not allowed.
      6. The reference style follows the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition, both in the text and in the final Reference section. All the cited references and only the cited references will be included in the Reference section. Some examples:
