Aspectos histológicos de Kochia scoparia (L.) Schrader. Hipótesis sobre la ontogenia

RESUMEN: En el presente trabajo se describen ciertos aspectos estructurales y ontogenéticos de Kochia scoparia (L.) Schrader. Se estudian diversas etapas del desarrollo embrionario, apreciándose una asincronía marcada durante el proceso de elongación. Se analiza la ontogenia del sistema vascular. Se estudia la extensión del área de transición. Del análisis del desarrollo de las semillas se deduce la existencia inicial de tres sistemas vasculares separados en la plántula, que posteriormente contactan. Se estudia la forma de desarrollo del sistema vascular secundario y la actividad secuencial de diversos meristemos laterales, presentándose la asincronía como una característica funcional relevante.ABSTRACT: The present work reports on certain structural aspects of seeds of Kochia scoparia (L.) Schrader. Different stages of embryonic development are studies with the finding that mainly on the ontogeny of the vascular system. A study is made of the transition area. According to analysis of the development of the seeds it is possible to infer the initial existence of three separate vascular systems in the seedling, that later contact. A study is made of the developmental mode of the secondary vascular system of the stem and the sequential activity of the several meristems. The asynchrony appears as an important functional characteristic.
