Tectónica y sedimentación de las series de tránsito (Frecámbrico terminal) entre el Anticlinal de Valdelacasa y el Valle de Alcudia. Ausencia de Cámbrico
Abstract In this area of the Iberian Peninsula, several limestones and dolomites crop out and have been considered by diferents authors as lower Cambrian. The correlation was of litologic charactere, arousing some stratigraphic problems. In the Valdelacasa anticlinorium, below lower Cambrian limestones, there is another carbonate level inside latest Precambrian series. This is a discontinuos level outcropping in diferents places in Ibor, Navaelpino, Abenojar and Alcudia anticlinoriums. This geographical distribution is the result of the existence of an active and longitudinal step, parallel to these structures and syncronous with sedimentation, where deposition of shallow waters carbonates and ferruginous levels were posible. From this areas, olistostromes and paraconglomerates slided to deepper waters. Between the Valdelacasa anticlinorium and the Pedroches Batholith, Cambrian is absent and Tremadoc series rest over latest Precambrian. Lower and middle Cambrian were eroded during the Sardique deformation phase, while upper Cambrian possibly was not deposited.
