Estratigrafía del Jurásico marino en el sector sur-occidental de la provincia de Burgos

Abstract

This work shows the stratigraphie conclusions obtained about the marine Jurassic in the east margin of the Cameros Basin. Various formations are defined so that changes in different places may be noticed. This allows us to see an evolution from a brackish environment to a platform at some depth, which later becomes two basins divided by a threshold. At this stage in the evolution the Jurassic marine sedimentation ends and the sedimentation of Purbeck beds begins.
