Análisis comparativo de los granitos del área Béjar-Plasencia con otros granitos "younger" centro peninsulares: precisiones sobre la serie mixta

Abstract

The authors, based in previous works, conclude that alcaline and mixed granitic series are indeed tvtO different aspects of the same process caused by combination of deep calc-alcaline magmatic components and mesocrustal palingenetic products. Difference is determined solely by the different quantitative relation between both components. Because the petrographical and chemical data are not enough to determine sometimes if a granite is connected with mixed or alcaline series, the following genetical trends are proposed: — Calc-alcaline series. — Contaminated calc-alcaline series. — Induced alcaline series. — Mixed granites. — Anatexites and diatexites.
