Estudio tectónico y microtectónico de la fracturación en un segmento del Sistema Central español
Abstract The fracture pattern in the northwestern part of the Spanish Sistema Central has been mapped on a regional basis with field, morphological and photogeologic (ERTS-1 satellite photographs) criteria. The microtectonic analysis (slickenside fault —plane and motion— plane pole diagrams) established most fractures as belonging to the general tardihercynian strike-siip system of the Peninsula, with some particularities with regard to the studied area. In that area, the fracture pattern is very relevant to morphology.
