Unamuno and Nietzsche: An Insuperable Opposition

Abstract

This essay sets out to underline the radical opposition between Nietzsche and Unamuno, despite of many common themes. It brings to light the limits of any semantic comparison, due to opposing philosophical projects –affirmation of immanence for Nietzsche and Christian utopia for Unamuno.
