Solitude and Dialogue in Unamuno’s Rosario de sonetos líricos
Abstract This article proposes to establish the foundation of Unamuno’s work in the complementary (rather than contradictory) terms of «solitude» and «dialogue» that characterize the unamunian poetic subject. And, from that point, it explains the projection of this set of concepts in all of the work’s structural aspects. In this way, the unity of the work is justified and its importance in the author’s poetic trajectory is emphasized.
