"Mi defensa" o El borrador de una contestación inédita a la tentativa de destitución de Unamuno del Rectorado de Salamanca por el Obispo Cámara (finales de 1903 - principios de 1904)

Abstract

ABSTRACT: After preaching his new religious ideas, Unamuno had to face the clergy of Salamanca and its highest member: Father Camara. When he knew the latter was plotting to dismiss him, Unamuno wrote in his private correspondence that he was preparing a book — a book of which there had been no trace until recently. This is about presenting the draft Unamuno wrote in response to his possible dismissal. It was entitled: «Mi Defensa». The document —hitherto unpublished- throws some new light on this moment of high tension.
