No. 3 (2016): African American Cultures and Identities
Anthropology of «Afro-American Cultures and Identities». So we named one of the symposiums of the Congress of the European Council of Social Research of Latin America-CEISAL, which I had the honor of leading, gathered at the University of Salamanca in June 2016, and that within it, some of the works which follow were partially presented and debated publicly.The themes of the articles deal with the essential aspects to give an overview of such historical-cultural memory, past and present, predominating, in five of them, the ethnohistorical factor (of modern or contemporary stages). Three more refer to folkloric, festive or ethnomusicological aspects; There are also others to consider important cultural variables such as: popular religiosity, power, politics, work, etcetera.
