Education for Peace and International Schools in Argentina: Opportunities and Constraints

Abstract

This article analyzes the relationship between internationalization processes in compulsory education and pedagogical and didactic approaches to peace education in countries that have not recently experienced armed conflict, such as Argentina. Drawing on qualitative research based on in-depth interviews with educational professionals in these schools, the article examines how «global citizenship» is conceptualized and how it connects to ideals of peace and inclusion.
