Rhinolith in maxillary sinus
Abstract 70 Year-old male patient, with no relevant medical story is assessed in Otorhinolaryngology consultation for chronic rhinosinusitis that does not respond to medical treatment. In the computerized tomography the space of the right maxillary sinus is fully occupied and there is also calcified areas.It is made a nasosinusal endoscopic surgery, in which we found a big rhinolith in right maxillary sinus. The rhinolith is completely removed.After the surgery there is a clinical improvement in the patient and we do not see purulent discharge in the nasal endoscopy.
