Ventas jurisdiccionales abulenses en tiempos de Felipe III y Felipe IV

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo tiene por objeto dar a conocer las enajenaciones jurisdiccionales, —excluidas las ventas de oficios— llevadas a cabo por Felipe III y Felipe IV en la provincia de Ávila. Analiza las motivaciones de las ventas de lugares, el origen social de los compradores y las dificultades halladas por la Monarquía a la hora de llevar a cabo este proceso.ABSTRACT: This work tries to approach us to the territorial sales in Ávila —situated in the center of Spain— in the reigns of Philip III and Philip IV. It analyses the motivations, the social origin of the buyers and the difficulties found by the Monarchy when it wanted to manage this process.
