Timber supplies from the maritime province of segura de la sierra through the Royal Wood Department, the Navy Secretary and Suppliers
Abstract
The Sierra of Segura became an essential centre for the timber supply for the building action and the shipbuilding.
The timber supply will have, as a priority, a double destiny: the Royal Wood Department and the dockyarts of La Carraca and Cartagena, exploting directly by the State or by suppliers.
The objective of this article will be analysing these aspects, and the consequences derived from them.
