Exciting Female Monsters from History and Cinema
Abstract
Using the key concept of fear as a historical category, this paper investigates the ancient myth of Gorgon in seven contemporary movies and in a few teen movies.
At the center of my critical analysis there is the interdependence between the negative emotions, the uses of this archetypal image, and the research about history gender imaginary.
