Política agraria y «formas de vida» rural en la España de la Restauración

Abstract

This article attempts to relate the «agrarian regime» of Restoration Spain, especially at the turn of the century, with social conditions and ways of life existing in the countryside, conditions and ways of life that would evolve in measure with the agrarian policies put into practice by the successive governments and the existence of favourable or unfavourable economic situations in this sector. At the same time, an attempt is made to investigate the «country spaces» in general and rural housing in particular as central elements in the rural society of that time.
