ABSTRACT: This paper deals with two aspects concerning the incolae contributi. So this expression may be refer to a settlement of native population that remained peregrine in Roman colonies. On the other hand, neither can we reject that this expression may be a legal clause taken out from charters of Italian or Cisalpine colonies reissued at need. This would explain too the presence in the law of some archaism. ER -
