Macedonia tras Pidna: las cuatro Merides como experiencia republicana (167-148 A.E.C.)
Resumen El presente trabajo se aproxima al estudio de los distritos (merides) en los que se dividió el reino de Macedonia tras la Tercera Guerra Macedónica (171-168 a.e.c.). Utilizando las fuentes literarias y epigráficas, se plantea que dichas estructuras pudieron existir antes de la derrota de Perseo, siendo utilizadas por los monarcas antigónidas para la articulación del territorio. La formación de las merides republicanas emerge, así como el resultado de la ideología romana superpuesta sobre estructuras helenísticas previas.
