Impacto de una intervención proactiva en el aprendizaje de la lectura y sus dificultades a través de una plataforma online
Resumen Dada la diversidad del alumnado, ofrecer una enseñanza igualitaria y, a la vez, adaptada a las condiciones y/o necesidades individuales representa un importante reto para el sistema educativo. El aprendizaje de la lectura resulta especialmente relevante porque afecta directamente al éxito escolar e inclusión del alumnado. El nivel económico bajo —asociado o no a la emigración— y las dificultades de aprendizaje son dos factores principales de riesgo para el aprendizaje de la lectura. En este estudio se ha aplicado durante tres cursos (de 5 a 7 años) un sistema de evaluación continua de carácter trimestral sobre cinco indicadores relacionados con el aprendizaje de la lectura: conciencia fonológica, la ruta fonológica y visual, la fluidez, la comprensión lectora, tal y como se aplican en los modelos de Respuesta a la Intervención. Además, 191 estudiantes recibieron Preleo, un programa de prevención universal centrado en la conciencia fonémica, aplicado por los docentes del aula, a los 5 años. Los otros 189 constituyeron el grupo control. Los resultados mostraron que el programa mejora de manera significativa los cinco indicadores. Estas diferencias se mantuvieron dos años después de la aplicación del programa de prevención. Además, los efectos fueron significativos en los distintos niveles socioeconómicos, pero impactaron más en el nivel socioeconómico bajo y en el alumnado con mayor riesgo. Concluimos que un enfoque proactivo, basado en la evidencia, apoyado por herramientas tecnológicas y aplicado por docentes no especializados puede mejorar significativamente los resultados educativos y promover la equidad y la inclusión en el sistema educativo.
