Una breve historia de la educación matemática
Resumen
Este escrito presenta una forma diferente de mirar la historia: repensar la historia no como un movimiento lineal-cronológico, sino como flexible y rizomática, como un entramado multidimensional de eventos interconectados. Para ello, toma elementos de Michel Foucault y de Gilles Deleuze y Félix Guattari. Comienza reflexionando sobre los posibles orígenes de la educación matemática, al buscar indicios de su enseñanza y aprendizaje. Se sitúan puntos de entrada del entramado rizomático en Grecia, Mesopotamia, Prusia, incluso en Chile. En este movimiento, se posicionan distintos puntos de fuga que introdujeron vuelcos en la disciplina. Continúa retratando ciertos episodios que elevaron la educación matemática a una categoría de campo de estudio científico y que posicionaron la matemática como elemento clave para educar a las masas. Este escrito presenta una breve mirada al rizoma que se despliega al historizar la educación matemática.
