Marie Carrière dirige le Centre de littérature canadienne à l’Université de l’Alberta où elle enseigne en études françaises et en littérature comparée. Médée protéiforme (2012) et Writing in the Feminine in French and English Canada: A Question of Ethics (2002) comptent parmi ses monographies. Un volume collectif avec Patricia Demers, Regenerations: Canadian Women’s Writing/ Régénérations: Écriture des femmes au Canada (2014) est sous presse. Avec Catherine Khordoc, Carrière a aussi co-dirigé Migrance comparée/Comparing Migrations: les littératures du Canada et du Québec/The Literatures of Canada and Québec (2008); et avec Patrick Bergeron, Les réécrivains: enjeux transsexuels dans la littérature moderne d'expression française (2011). Elle prépare un nouvel essai sur le métaféminisme en littérature.

Libe García Zarranz

Libe García Zarranz is a Postdoctoral Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Innsbruck (Austria), and a Scholar in the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation. In September 2013, she defended her Ph.D. dissertation “Queer TransCanadian Women’s Writing in the 21st Century: Mapping a New Cross-Border Ethic” at the University of Alberta (Canada). She has published on the representation of gender, sexuality, and the body in contemporary writing and film, particularly in the work of Emma Donoghue, Dionne Brand, Merlinda Bobis, Raymond Carver, William Trevor, and Walt Disney. In 2009, she co-edited the second issue of The Raymond Carver Review on “Carver and Feminism” (2009), and she is currently co-edititing a volume of critical essays on Irish-Canadian writer Emma Donoghue.
