IV d.C. apropiarse de Virgilio.ABSTRACT: "Through five examples {carm. 1.166 usque adeone; 1.182 squalens métallo; 28.96 sub cardine rerum; 28.583 mfantem committere alendum; 20.272 and carm. min. 30.54 dives equum), this paper shows that in the examination of Claudian's language we have to consider not only the obvious debt to Virgil, but also the influence of the Virgilian commentaries and the epic tradition between the two poets, since it is only through that influence and those annotations that the appropriation of Virgil was possible in IV century a.C.
