Un nuevo capitel corintio procedente de Caesaraugusta

RESUMEN: Aparecido en uno de los torreones de 1 amuralla bajoimperial de la ciudad, el capitel corintio presentado en este artículo es el más monumental de cuantos han aparecido hasta el momento en caesaraugusta, siendo posible atribuirlo a algún gran edificio público. En el capitel conviven elementos de tradición tardo-republicana y proto-augustea del denominado "estilo segundo triunvirato" con otros impuestos más tardíamente, todo ello, no obstante, con las limitaciones inherentes al trabajo de un taller del ámbito local o regional. Cronológicamente se propone para el capitel una datación tardo-augustea o ligeramente posterior.ABSTRACT: Found in one of the fortified towers of the late imperial wall o the city, the Corinthian capital presented in this article is the most monumental of those found till this moment in Caesaraugusta, being possible to attribute it to some big public building. In the capital cohabit elements of late Republican and foremost Augustean tradition of the so called "second triumvirate style" with others imposed latey, all of this, never the less, with the limitations inherent to a work of a workshop of local or regional environment. Chonologically we propose for the capital a late Augustean or slightky later datation.
